What is Grief Coaching?
Grief coaching is not grief therapy or grief counseling. However, grief coaches often work with therapists and counselors once clients are ready to take the next step toward the future. *You do not currently have to be in therapy or counseling to participate in coaching.
Contrary to popular belief, grief doesn’t just happen after a loved one’s death. Grief can occur with any loss including job loss, pet loss, Alzheimer’s/dementia, divorce, relationship breakup, estrangement, and many other events.
Grief coaching is future-focused and helps to move the client from simply functioning to highly functioning. We’ll work together to find a way out of the maze of grief and towards a brighter future.
Who do I coach?
There are many types of grief and loss. I specialize in the following:

– Loss of a pet
– Loss due to Alzheimer’s or dementia
If you don’t fit into one of the categories above, don’t worry! Please get in touch with me to discuss your situation to see if we could still be the right fit for each other. If not, I’m happy to refer you to one of my colleagues who may be able to better assist in your grief journey.
I’m also available as a Certified Grief Educator. Do you have a business or organization that could benefit from grief education and dealing with loss? If so, don’t hesitate to contact me for more information on how we can work together to create a more grief-friendly environment.
